The intention of the digital cinematography course is to introduce students to making professional use, informed decisions about the emerging spectrum of digital equipment The course is intended to open up the range of possibilities that exist in film making for photographers and those interested in the trend of DSLR and video equipment.
The teaching is centred around contrast and comparisions between the knowledge of the photographer and the filmmaker. We look at how cinematography is used for story telling, with the use of lenses, grip, lighting, camera and sound. More importance is drawn on narrative and the visual story of the film.
